Experience the excitement & adventure of offshore sailing
> History
The charity currently known as Adventures Offshore has been around in various forms since it was founded in 1964 by the late Ken Wright, MBE, who was a key player throughout much of the scheme’s history. Shortly after retiring from the scheme in 2001, Ken wrote the story of the organisation looking back over the 37 years he had been at the helm. Recent updates by John Meggitt and others.
In memory of Ken Wright, MBE.
Do you have memories of your past adventures with us? Are you a former Tall Ships Race crew member? Do you remember sailing our older vessels, such as Ramrod, Salex, etc?
We’d love to hear from past crew and afterguard -
