Sailing Programme

Below you will find details of our current programme for Ocean Scout and Offshore Scout, as well as information regarding longer cruises and courses. For full details regarding bookings and availability, please view the availability pages or contact the office. How about getting a larger group together and booking both boats at a discount? We are also very flexible and will consider changing the programmed cruises to dates and lengths which suit your requirements. For youth groups, an offshore sailing trip provides a very different experience "under canvass" for a summer camp.

Ocean Scout

2009 Programme

Ocean Scout begins the 2009 season at Ipswich Haven Marina from the Easter holidays until 19th June. Cruise the picturesque River Orwell, explore the Thames Estuary and East Coast or, for longer trips, Belgium, France and Holland are all possibilities

On 20th June she sails for the Baltic with Offshore Scout to compete in the annual Tall Ships Races.

Join her for the delivery trip through the Dutch inland waterways en route for Cuxhaven.  The Yachts will then  traverse the Kiel Canal and pass through the Danish Islands to Join the Tall Ships celebrations in the Polish second city of Gdynia. From there she will race to St Petersburgh before taking part in the Cruise in Company to Turku in Finland. The final race will take the fleet on to Klaipeda in Lithuania.

After the races the Yachts will cruise back through the Baltic to Cuxhaven before completing their Tall Ships Series with a North Sea crossing back to Ipswich.

Ocean Scout will then complete the season sailing from Ipswich with more adventures around the ports of the Southern North Sea.

Dates and availability for Ocean Scout can be found here.

Offshore Scout

2009 Programme

Offshore Scout will spend the early part of the season in Ipswich, with a short stay in the Solent in late May.

She will then return to Ipswich for a couple of cruises before joining her sister ship for the Tall Ships programme.

She will then rejoin Ocean Scout to complete her season at Ipswich.

Weekday evening sails, weekends and week long sails are available on board both boats, or how about getting a larger group together and booking both boats at a discount?

We are also very flexible and will consider changing the programmed cruises to dates and lengths which suit your requirements. For youth groups and offshore sailing trip provides a very different experience "under canvass" for a summer camp.
