Exploring the fjords of NorwayWhich trip is for you?

Take a look at our programme to get an overview of the sailing opportunities on offer this season. If you are a first time offshore sailor or are restricted by time or cost, you may want to try a weekend; whilst the slightly longer trips over bank holiday weekends or mid-week are ideal for those who want to travel further afield.

No prior experience is necessary for any of our trips, so if you are feeling adventurous enough to go straight into a week-long passage, then you can. For local groups, we are also able to run evening taster sessions to give you a brief introduction and tempt you to book a further voyage.

However, the ultimate experience is provided by our summer programme of extended international voyages of a week or more. These provide the opportunity to work towards RYA qualifications and can count towards your Duke of Edinburgh Gold or Queen’s Scout Award.

How to book your voyage

Once you have decided on which voyage you would like to join, please contact us to check availability and we will send you the appropriate information and application forms. Alternatively, you can use our online enquiry form. Once you have made a provisional booking, you will be asked to pay a deposit in order to confirm your place on the chosen voyage and advised when the balance of payment for your trip will be due.

Preparing for your trip

No prior sailing experience or knowledge is necessary for any of our voyages, but to help you get the most out of your trip you may find it useful to do some preparation. If you are a leader for a group booking, e.g. a Scout group, you may find it useful to include nautical skills such as knots, rope work, navigation or sailing theory in your programme in the run up to your trip, particularly if your members will be working towards one of the nautical-themed badges or awards.
