Experience the excitement & adventure of offshore sailing
Adventures Offshore strives to operate to the highest standard of safety possible and our excellent safety record demonstrates how successful we are with that aim. The safety and well being of our crew is always our highest priority.
Procedural safety
Prior to embarking on any voyage, all crew undergo a comprehensive safety briefing
designed to inform them of the potential safety and domestic issues involved in sailing
and living aboard a yacht at sea. It includes a thorough briefing on the use of life
jackets -
We regularly review our Operations Manual, in which all of our afterguard are trained and which outlines the safety checks and measures in place for every voyage, as well as emergency procedures. Adventures Offshore maintains regular contact with its vessels throughout each voyage and operates a comprehensive home and emergency contact system to comply with the requirements of The Scout Association’s “In Touch” rules.
Afterguard
Although they give their time on voluntary basis, all of our skippers and senior mates are professionally qualified, highly experienced sailors that have undergone a thorough appointment and training process.
