Experience the excitement & adventure of offshore sailing

Find your sea legs and sail away with Adventures Offshore.

Take the helm of a modern 15 metre sailing yacht and experience the excitement and adventure of offshore sailing. Feel the wind in your face and work as a team to learn the ropes that hoist and trim the vessel’s five sails.

Navigate the ocean waves and experience the challenge of cooking and living aboard a yacht at sea. Feel the ship dance with the waves as you steer a true course for East Anglia’s most secret places, before anchoring in a quiet creek to the seabirds’ call with seals for neighbours.

Join us on a weekend voyage exploring the rivers, creeks and harbours of the Essex and Suffolk coast; or for a longer trip to take up the challenge of a Tall Ships Race or international passage. Set your course and watch as the land dips from view.

In all sorts of subtle ways your world will never be quite the same again.

Opportunities

Adventures Offshore provide a wide range of sailing opportunities throughout the season (April-October), including weekends and long weekends from Ipswich and exploring the UK east coast. A series of longer trips and international voyages are available during the summer months, often including the option of taking part in a Tall Ships Race. Evening sessions are also available for local groups. Please take a look at our programme and if you have any specific requests, we are willing to discuss tailoring voyages to your needs.
